Rocky Rocket got fed up with Earth and took off.
This is the journey of a retired rocket to the far reaches of the universe! Dodge asteroids, look after Rocky’s structural integrity, and find a workshop to get him back into orbit. Even a piece of junk deserves another chance!
Astro Lata
PROTOTYPE UNDER DEVELOPMENT
Astro Lata is a space arcade game for Android featuring a retro-futuristic cartoon aesthetic and a distinct "Argen-punk" sense of humor. Guide Rocky—a chubby, rickety red rocket—through a campaign spanning 22 routes and three branching paths as you make your way out of the Solar System. Dodge dangers, collect nuts to keep your ship in repair, and discover all 50 collectibles for your cosmic museum.
- Guide Rocky with a finger.
- Dodge asteroids just like in the old days!
- 22 routes and three forks, leading out of the Solar System.
- Rocky can end up healthy, broken, or completely wrecked.
- Collect nuts to repair it at space workshops.
- Discover 50 figurines for the Cosmic Museum.
- Make postcards out of your little cards and send them to your buddies!
- Normal Mode, Pro mode after completion, and global ranking.
- Cool music.
A stop at the workshop could save the trip! Rocky might end up in good shape, broken, or completely wrecked. Collect nuts to pay for repairs—reaching the destination doesn’t automatically fix the hull.
After the end, another challenge begins. Complete the campaign to unlock PRO Mode—featuring greater dangers and small asteroids that can also destroy Rocky—along with six exclusive cards.
Jugá a tu manera. Hay opciones de sensibilidad, volumen de música y efectos, tamaño de texto y movimiento reducido. El juego incluye español, inglés y portugués brasileño.
Test version. No ads. Purchases are simulated and do not result in any charges. The ranking is local, and no public release has been announced yet.

Frequently Asked Questions
Astro Lata is a free-to-download game for Android. It contains no ads, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted journey. If you enjoyed the game, you can make a one-time purchase of various power-ups—yours to keep forever. This will help Rocky Rocket continue his voyage beyond the Solar System.
Drag your finger to guide Rocky, anticipate gaps, and dodge dangers on your way to the next destination. Don’t crash! Collect nuts along the way to pay for repairs at the workshop. Pick up energy cells to restore your shield. Fly over floating workshops to give Rocky some repairs. Use the right lever on the control panel to patch him up a bit.
Nope. Old Rocky Rocket is retired. He just dodges and weaves. His approach is peaceful. He’s… senile.
Rocky’s hull has three states: intact, damaged, and wrecked. Some hazards are lethal; in Pro mode, even small asteroids are fatal. Collect nuts and use them to pay for repairs. Reaching your destination does not automatically repair the hull.
Impacts can leave Rocky shattered or reduced to scrap. Head-on collisions with medium-sized and large asteroids are lethal.
If Rocky needs repairs after you finish a level, you can fix him in the workshop by spending nuts. You collect these nuts from among the asteroids. There is a one-time purchase available that grants you a permanent repair wrench and a bag of 300 nuts, but these are not required to play the game.
The shop offers optional forms of assistance to help Rocky keep traveling, even though his retirement funds are barely enough to cover a few patches. The planned catalog includes:
Energy shield: protects against three hits and can be recharged by collecting energy cells.
100% Repair Kit: Fully restores Rocky’s helmet. One use per section.
Space Workshop Pack: includes the shield, the kit, and 100 nuts for repairs.
Bag of 900 nuts: a currency for use in workshops..
The shield, the kit, and the Workshop Pack will be one-time purchases that provide permanent unlocks. The bag of nuts is a consumable item and can be purchased multiple times.
The shield and the kit can be used for free until you pass Jupiter for the first time. Afterward, these aids remain optional: you don’t need to purchase them to keep playing.
Purchased nuts are kept until they are used up. When you lose a level, you only lose the pickups during that attempt; The balance accumulated in completed sections is preserved.
During the current closed test, purchases are simulated and no charges are made.
The current campaign features 22 routes, three branches, and 50 figurines for the Museum (six of which are exclusive to Pro Mode). The goal is to leave the Solar System; a single expedition cannot cover every branch. Completing the game unlocks Pro Mode.
Astro Lata covers the entire journey from Earth to the edge of the Solar System, beyond Pluto. Reaching a destination marks a milestone and unlocks the next leg of the trip (sometimes you can choose between two paths). Getting close to certain discoveries allows you to collect a sticker for your album.
There are level cards that appear when you begin an uncharted journey. "Rare" cards appear near the end of a level. The six exclusive cards for Pro Mode are scattered throughout the course.
When you pick up the little cards, they end up in the Cosmic Museum, where you can view them in detail and turn them into travel postcards to send to your friends.
The "strange" little letters explain the reasons why Rocky Rocket headed to the very edge of the universe, fed up with Earth. The regular letters indicate the levels you have unlocked.
Look for any little card in the Cosmic Museum. Each one has a button that lets you turn it into a travel postcard to share with your contacts on social media. You’ll get a reward of 300 nuts the first time you convert one! You don’t even have to share it.
Progress is saved on your device, including confirmed destinations, your collection, resources, Rocky’s status, preferences, and high scores. When you close the game, you will return to the last confirmed milestone, not the exact moment of your flight. Deleting the app’s data may erase this progress. Additionally, your score is saved to the global leaderboard.
To participate in the ranking, enter a nickname. Never use your real name or personal information as your nickname. The ranking system offers Normal, Pro, and Top Ten views, featuring the global scores of all "Rockies" across the universe.
Astro Lata is currently in development and testing. For now, there is no public download available, nor has a release on Google Play been announced. Purchases made within the prototype are simulated and do not result in any actual charges.
